Providence Imaging Center’s (PIC)
mission is to provide high quality
medical imaging services in a caring,
comfortable and convenient environment.
Its team of nine board-certified
radiologists and highly trained
technologists and professional support
staff are dedicated to providing
exemplary customer service.
Radiologists
All Providence Imaging
Center imaging exams are read –
studied and interpreted – by local
radiologists
who know and understand Alaskans.
Together, they have decades of experience
in reading and interpreting imaging
scans, including MRI, CT, PET-CT,
ultrasound, mammography and radiography
images. Each radiologist attends
annual medical meetings to guarantee
they are up-to-date on the latest
in medical imaging.
Technologists
Each medical imaging
exam – CT, MRI, PET-CT, mammography,
ultrasound and general radiology
– is performed by a technologist
who has undergone countless hours
of training. PIC technologists
attend continuing education courses
regularly to ensure they are knowledgeable
about the latest positioning and
imaging techniques.
Support
Staff
Professional clerical staff
support PIC’s operations in the
File Room, Scheduling and at the
Front Desk.

advantage of our new Online

have insurance and billing information
available. If patients are unable
to pre-register prior to their appointment,
