Providence Imaging Center provides clinicians with tools to assist you including secure, Web-based access from your home or office to radiology images and reports:

Click here to launch ProvPort login

ProvPort is a portal that allows clinicians and staff to view health information about your patients including transcriptions, lab results, radiology reports, demographic information and now digital imaging.

Fuji Synapse is the name of the PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) system used by PIC. You may already have a ProvPort account, but may not realize that this feature is available to you. Simply select the patient you wish to see the images of, then click the "PACS" tab at the top of your screen. Alternatively, you may pull up the radiology report itself, and hit the "View Images" button. Either one launches Synapse on your screen, and allows you to look at all imaging the patient has had at PIC.

If you do not currently have ProvPort (a prerequisite to getting Synapse access to images), click here to download the application packet.

Access speed is of course dependent on the Internet Service Provider you have and the bandwidth available to you. Multi-slice modalities like MRI and CT may have hundreds of images, and these take more of your computer's resources to display.
